Airbus
I have worked for Airbus for 6 years. However, in 2014 they kindly allowed me to leave on a long-term sabbatical to allow me time to train and to follow my dream of becoming a Paralympian. Airbus are now officially one of my main sponsors on the road to Rio. Also, back in 2013 Airbus were the first company to help me with raising the funds to purchase a running blade.
I thank Airbus for their support as they not only allowed me to take a sabbatical but have also chosen to sponsor me in my endeavours. This means a lot to me, knowing that my colleagues are following my progress and helping me to fulfil a burning ambition.

Insurance with Yellow Jersey is a must if you cycle. What’s important to me is they understand my sport as many of their team are triathletes and cyclists. Their tiered approach to bicycle insurance over three policies means you can choose the right level of cover for you, without paying for things that aren’t relevant.
As a triathlete, their Ultimate policy covers my bike for training, traveling and racing worldwide from theft, accidental damage and crash damage. My bike and triathlon gear are covered in transition as well as while I compete.
Whichever policy option you choose, they all come with some great benefits such as:
new for old cover, £2m third party public liability, no third party excess, 25% renewal discount (even if you’ve made a claim), £250 accessories cover as standard and a 60% multi bike discount.
If you try to purchase your insurance elsewhere then be careful as most don’t cover you for racing which in my eyes where an accident may occur when you’re pushing yourself to the limits.
As an ambassador for Yellow Jersey you can use my 10% discount code – head to their website to get a quote today.
